What is CSAN?
CSAN's mission is to promote social justice within England and Wales. There are many professional Catholic charities providing social care from cradle to grave (working in homeless, adoption services, care for vulnerable children and adults etc) within England and Wales. These organisations together represent the Catholic Voluntary Sector and it is for these organisations that CSAN exists.

CSAN acts as an umbrella body providing information, networking opportunities and facilitating collaborative working between its members, departments of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of England and Wales and Caritas Europa. The main aim is to develop and improve the care services provided by member organisations in line with Catholic social teaching. Read more about CSAN members.
