Collaborating with Schools
Purpose
CSAN believes there is a unique community of interest between the Catholic education sector, Catholic agencies and the Church allowing the development of a range of services for children, young people and families delivering the extended schools agenda. These services will contribute to community cohesion and reinforce the value of the Catholic faith contributing to the common good. CSAN is working towards convening a forum of agencies who wish to develop collaborative working with Catholic schools. The purpose of the forum will be to introduce schools to agencies with whom they can work, disseminate models of collaborative working, highlight and roll out best practice, and develop a signposting network. The forum will also allow issues identified by schools as being of significance to children, young people and/or families to influence the development of new services. This forum is open to all those CSAN member organisations considering starting extended schools programmes.
