Dementia and Spirituality Online Resources

As a follow-up to the DVD 'It's still ME, Lord...' and the training workshops on dementia and spirituality, CSAN and Ben Bano have produced a guide for facilitators of parish and deanery discussions on the subject. The guide will help parish groups to consider ways in which they can help to make parishes places of welcome for those affected by dementia and asks the following questions:
- Do we know about people with dementia and their caregivers?
- Do we know about services available for people in our area?
- How can we raise awareness of dementia in our parish or faith community?
- Making contact with people with dementia and their caregivers
