CSAN is very encouraged by the response of those who have seen the film. We hope that it will become a useful resource for those with responsibilities of caring for people with dementia and their carers and a way of raising awareness of the importance of meeting spiritual needs. We anticipate that it will also go on to inspire other activities such as national training events for those involved in dementia care - if you are interested in attending one of these training sessions, please contact us.
The DVD is available free of charge, but we would be pleased to receive a donation to cover our costs (suggested donation £ 7.50 per DVD).
To order a copy, please download an order form and email it to chris.driscoll@cbcew.org.uk or for more information on the DVD please call Chris Driscoll on 020 7901 4877.
From February to May 2010, CSAN organised several training workshops aimed at those involved in ministry and outreach for people with dementia and their carers. The workshops took place in different locations across the country. An online learning resource has also been produced to offer guidance to parishes and deaneries on taking practical steps to raising awareness and providing structured support for people with dementia and their carers.
Listen to producer Ben Bano take part in a discussion on spirituality and dementia on the BBC Radio Wales programme 'All Things Considered'.
