Bishop Brain is CSAN Chair. He was appointed Bishop of Salford on 2 September 1997 and installed on 7 October 1997. In 1995 Bishop Brain was appointed Liaison Bishop between the Catholic Hierarchy and HM Prison Service.
Margaret Dight MBE - CSAN Vice Chair
Former Director, Catholic Children's Society, Nottingham
Until her retirement in June 2007, Margaret was the Director of the Catholic Children's Society, Nottingham, an Adoption Agency that has achieved significant National recognition for its innovation in adoption research and practice, which assisted in the development of the Adoption and Children Act 2002. Since retirement Margaret remains active in promoting best practice in Adoption through membership of Research advisory groups in the UK and Canada, and in her role as Chair of an Adoption Panel. Margaret was appointed MBE in 2001 for services to adoption and Dame of St Sylvester in 2007 in recognition of the execution of her professional duties.
Andrew Haines - Honorary Treasurer

Andrew became Chief Executive in 1991 of the Together Trust (formerly Boys and Girls Welfare Society), during which time he has overseen the growth of the organisation which has become one of the largest and most diverse children’s charities in England & Wales. He is currently Trustee and Honorary Treasurer of the National Council of Voluntary Child Care Organisations, he is also to become a Trustee of Alcohol & Drug Services which is the largest charity of its type in the North West.

Bishop Budd has been involved with CSAN since the 1990's and Chair's the small group which promotes theological reflection on some of the major social issues considered by Caritas in particular, and the Church in general.
Rt Rev Crispian Hollis
Bishop of Portsmouth
Bishop Hollis was installed as Bishop of Portsmouth in 1989. He has been Chairman of the Catholic Media Trust, the Bishops' Committee for Europe, the Department for Mission and Unity and the Bishops' Conference Department of International Affairs.
Terry Connor
Chief Executive, Cabrini Children's Society
Terry is Chief Executive of Cabrini Children’s Society, a charity providing wide ranging services to children, young people, families and to adults with learning disabilities. He has worked in child care in both the public and voluntary sectors.
Cathy Corcoran
Director, Cardinal Hume Centre
Cathy is Chief Executive of the Cardinal Hume Centre which works with homeless people, badly housed families and refugees, migrants and asylum seekers in Central London. Prior to joining the Centre, Cathy was Head of the International Division at CAFOD.
Jim Cullen
Director, Caritas Care
Jim Cullen is Chief Exective of Caritas Care providing a range of children's services including adoption, fostering, daycare and residential care and services for adults with disabilities, elderly and a variety of community projects operating in the Northwest of England. Jim worked for three local aurthorities before joining Caritas Care.
Fr Bernard Wilson
Salford Diocese
Father Wilson has been Parish Preist of the Didsbury Parish, St Catherine of Siena since 2002. He has been Director/Trustee of the Diocesan body 'Catholic Welfare Societies', a collaboration of agencies involved in adult welfare since 1986. He was amongst the founding Board of Management and Trustees for CSAN.
